The English Squad update: Quansah excluded
Jarell Quansah will be absent from the English team's World Cup qualifying match against the Latvian side due to injury and the player – who did not play in England's three-nil exhibition win over the Welsh team at Wembley Stadium – will head back to his team Bayer Leverkusen.
He has been a regular in the team's backline this campaign but the national squad said no further squad replacements were planned for the qualification match in the Latvian capital on Tuesday.
England could earn a place for the upcoming FIFA World Cup with two matches to remaining if they overcome their opponents on this Tuesday and results in other matches in Group K go their way.
